Harry, Nomadmania: The Legendary Traveler

ree

When shortlisting personas to present on my blog, the first on my list is my school classmate Harry Mitsidis, whom I deeply admire! Harry is one of the most prolific travelers in the world (though he humbly denies being the biggest) and the founder of Nomadmania, one of the leading websites in the world of systematic travel.

Harry studied sociology in Greece and at the University of Oxford. After working as a lecturer in sociology and business in four countries, he decided that exploring the world was a far better undertaking. Harry achieved his aim of visiting every country in the world, as defined by the United Nations, by the age of 36!

If you have the travel bug, I suggest you visit Nomadmania and Harry Mitsidis' website (https://harrymitsidis.com/) to be dazzled by the places and statistics of these globe explorers.

From all the amazing stories and information I have read about Harry, I will share one travel tip from one of his interviews: Don’t read too much before your travel, especially not safety advice from your government, and don’t get too much information on where you are going; just let yourself be surprised!

Harry, you are an inspiration – keep being a romantic and spreading the beauty of traveling.
