Sea, Snow & Love

Gri, the small boat, embarked on its journey last November. By the final days of 2024, it arrived at Mt. Pelion, the renowned peninsula that beautifully combines mountain and sea.

Gri is grateful for not being alone on this memorable journey and humbly shares its wisdom:

• Lesson No. 1: Traveling to places where you have friends makes a big difference but also be adventurous ! Ratings, stars, and reviews are useful, but nothing compares to your friend’s local knowledge, contacts, and experiences. Even if you don't have local friends, sometimes trust your nose, instincts, and senses. Don't rely solely on reviews; you never know what treasure you may discover. Besides, great discoveries were made by curious people who risked venturing into the unknown. Even failures teach valuable lessons.

• Lesson No. 2: Traveling with your beloved ones is priceless however travelling with complete strangers may open new horizons ! Gri is grateful to be surrounded by family and friends. You may feel miserable because you can't travel to the other side of the world due to financial constraints or other reasons. Paradise is closer than you think, sometimes. Explore your nearby locations, find beauty in every corner of the place you are surrounded by. Sometimes you might reach your dream destination alone, with no one to share your experiences with. If you don't have someone to travel with consider joining a group. Be open to meeting new people and embrace the positive aspects of others.
